History

Dr. Mick Abaé and his associates at Fertility & Genetics have a reputation for providing highly-personalized infertility and reproductive endocrinology services in South Florida since 1993. We treat each patient as an individual, with a treatment protocol that fits their own needs. We are dedicated to providing comprehensive, state-of-the-art reproductive health care, including evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment, in an outpatient setting designed to maximize patient comfort and convenience.

Our Philosophy

Our primary goal is to provide services to all patients, as exemplified by our broad policy of acceptance of patients into the A.R.T. program. We do not select patients based on pre-set parameters, such as age, ovarian responsiveness, or uterine factors, for example, that are known to lead to higher success rates. We are proud that we have given the chance of achieving pregnancy to patients who had failed prior attempts or were not accepted at other centers due to age or severity of their condition. We have a very low cancellation rate, such that most patients who initiate a cycle will complete it, and we limit the number of embryos that we transfer, which increases the number of good quality embryos available to freeze and utilize in subsequent cycles. In addition, by limiting the number of embryos transferred, we are able to decrease the risk of higher order pregnancies (greater than twins), and provide the best chance for a happy and healthy outcome for both mother and baby.
