OUTCOMES

Although we are excited and proud for all of our patients to achieve pregnancy, we are especially so for those who have tried previously and were unsuccessful.

Our program does not use any pre-set parameters for patient pre-selection and / or treatment. We will discuss realistic expectations of results that the couple may have from their treatment at our center. In every couple our team addresses the question of "prognosis for success", always considering all clinical and emotional circumstances for the individuals involved.

We treat every case in an individual basis, and our philosophy of highly individualized, physician directed, patient-friendly treatment is open to everyone of our patients. There is no selection criteria as commonly used by other centers, and which may influence a program’s success rates.

In the year 2002 we have achieved a remarkable viable pregnancy rate* of 50% in patients younger than 35. In addition, the overall success rate** for patients (all ages), in which ICSI
(Assisted Micro-fertilization) was indicated, reached 39%.

We also continue to enjoy great success rates** in our egg donation program, which for years 2001 and 2002 have been at a solid 50%.

We have treated patients that have undergone from 1 to 4 unsuccessful attempts at other centers, and with ages ranging between 32 and 43. In the year 2000, 13% of our patients fit these circumstances; however, in the past two years (2001-2002) this number has increased to 28%. We have achieved a remarkable 26% viable pregnancy rate* in this group of patients over the past three years. Our unique financial programs have enabled many to make the second attempt that they otherwise would have been unable to afford.
